There are three ways to get started. Choose the one that is most convenient for you.

How long will it take to build my website?

Once we receive your personalized content, a Brochure Website can take 3–5 business days, a Business Website can take 7–10 business days and a Premium Website varies on a case-by-case basis depending on the volume and type of content you include.

How long will it take for my website to go “live?”

It can take up to 10 business days to build your website; however, your compliance department must review and approve your site before it goes live.

How much work do I have to do?

Once you have selected your template, you just need to provide us with your personalized content—biography, products and services, pictures, company philosophy, etc. We’ll do the rest.

What is the difference between Brochure and Business Websites?

A Business Website has more of everything—more customizable pages, more calculators, more articles and more email accounts. For more information, you can view Brochure and Business Website features side by side.

What if I already have a website?

We will transfer your Web pages and domain to our servers, so you can begin enjoying the benefits of our services and AdvisorSquare technologies. The cost to transfer your Web pages is contingent on the original design. The cost to transfer your domain is $60.

Can I write my own articles? What if I don’t have content?

Yes, you can provide any personalized content you’d like. If you don’t have any personalized content you’d like to include, you can access our database of compliance-approved articles, provided by a third-party publisher, to select content for your website.

How do I make changes to my site once it is live?

With AdvisorSquare’s Content Editor, it’s easy to make changes to your website. The Content Editor is a Web-based tool, so there is no software to download or install. Once your changes are made, your compliance department will automatically receive an email notification to review your changes.

What does my monthly fee pay for?

In addition to the storage of your website, your monthly fee pays for your access to third-party, compliance-approved articles, calculators and research tools as well as server maintenance.

Do I need to speak "tech" to create content and make changes to my website?

No, with our easy-to-use website management tools, you can make edits to your site without knowing a single line of programming code. We also offer webinars and training sessions to help you better manage, edit and market your website. Review our webinar and training schedules and signup for a virtual seminar today. Attend as many sessions as you like—they're all included free of charge with your AdvisorSquare website service.

My website just went live. How do I use it?

Your website contains a wealth of information for your clients and prospects. In order for people to visit your site, they need to know about it! Attend one our AdvisorSquare University webinars for ideas on easy ways to get the word out about your website. We also offer training on our handy Content Editor tool, so you can learn how to effectively manage the content on your website.

Compliance Department turnaround times vary between broker-dealers. If it has been more than a week since you submitted your changes, you may want to contact your Compliance Department directly to check the status.
