Tyler J. Beachler, CIMA® is the Senior Analyst and Operations Manager leading the firm's service excellence efforts and analytical capabilities to provide quality and efficiency in support of clients. Tyler is also a member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee where his analytical insights help form BSC’s investment strategies.

In 2016, Tyler obtained the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) certification through the Investment Management Consultants Association® (IMCA®). The CIMA® certification process is a rigorous multi-step program that covers a wide range of in-depth investment management topics. As part of the certification process, Tyler completed advanced investment management consulting coursework through the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. In 2011, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI®) recognized the CIMA® certification as the first financial services credential in the United States to earn accreditation under an international personnel certification standard.

Tyler’s professional development also includes the Accredited Wealth Management AdvisorSM (AWMA®) designation through the College for Financial Planning®, earned in 2013. The AWMA® curriculum is developed by the College's highly esteemed faculty with input from the country's top investment and financial firms. Candidates for the AWMA® designation must complete a course of study encompassing wealth strategies, equity-based compensation plans, tax reduction tactics, and asset protection disciplines.

Prior to joining BSC Private Wealth Management, Tyler worked with Guillaume & Freckman Inc. where he improved organizational efficiency, researched financial investment alternatives, and helped manage the asset allocation disciplines for high net worth clients.

Tyler graduated from Taylor University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a minor in Mathematics. Participating on the Taylor University Men's Soccer team allowed Tyler to grow his competitive nature. Tyler was recognized as an academic all-American for his success in the classroom and on the soccer field. Tyler’s work ethic and competitiveness led him to be recognized as an NAIA all-American, conference player of the year, and being featured on ESPN’s top plays #2. Tyler was chosen to captain the team his junior and senior year for his ability to lead by example.

Tyler participated in the management of Taylor's Student Endowment Fund. Taylor University’s Endowment Fund has a total value of approximately $70 million. Tyler’s responsibilities include researching and reporting on domestic and international equities, as well as, summary analysis for the Student Endowment Fund.

Tyler was born and raised in Illinois. Throughout his childhood, Tyler attended Westminster Christian School where he has devoted his time back to the school as an assistant high school basketball coach.
